Prepare Images For Web Publishing - A Brief

I often see in a lot of forums that people are complaining about image quality after uploading their photographs to online galleries and such. They complain about “muted colors” or “they look tad washed out”.

The “secret” is behind the rendering engine of the used internet browser.
Most of them are just able to reproduce the sRGB colorspace.
If your workflow contains editing/processing in a different colorspace, then you might Read the rest of this entry »

The ability to make people happy :-)

During my regular checks and trackback analysis I have found a german article at Blogwatch reporting about my XoverIP photoblog. Peter Roskothen writes about my style and the variety of my portfolio, mentioning that he most likes my b&w and sepia toned stil-life shots. His notice about my nude photography style as being sensual but never shameless, hit the mark.

Well, I’m always a bit flattered when I find such articles. In this case in a very particular manner, because Peter revealed that he is as pleased as punch about every new picture I post :-) Thanks Peter!

It was and it is always a pleasure to see that my pics make people happy :-) Cheers, Vernon Trent
